This hotel offered a nice stay. The front desk staff was helpful, proficient and welcoming. I liked the modern look of the lobby, bar and public area, though was somewhat disappointed that guest rooms are not updated.
I liked its location in downtown Halifax especially being next door (and connected to a covered walkway) to the Halifax World Trade & Convention Centre. I also liked the provision of fresh cream/milk for coffee instead of the powder creamer, for coffee made with an in-room Keurig machine.
I attended a catered buffet dinner for large-group function at this hotel. Both food and service were good.
What I did not like and found puzzling is how high the bed is. Bedding could be better.
Pool/gym: did not use though I saw those facilities as being average and not particularly impressively equipped or furnished.
