Location is great, both restaurants in the hotel were very good and the room was comfortable. Front desk, concierge, manager were all approachable and helpful. It was great to have access to the top floor lounge and the coffee was GREAT there.

Excellent location, staff, food and rooms. As a Travel Agent I would highly recommend The Prince George to clients. Breakfast buffet offered excellent choices at a very reasonable price. Many restaurants and pubs within a few blocks and tourist spots were as well.

My first choice whenever i stay in Halifax. Nice rooms, great service and very reasonably priced. Love the food at Gio and the Level Bar has a classic "Hotel Bar" feel that is just very welcoming. Close to everything downtown.

We stayed here last year when we brought our son to Dal for his first year. We liked it so much we stayed here again when we came back to set him up in his house rental in July.
The location is central walking distance to the waterfront and restaurants so close by. Our room had 2 really comfortable queen beds and the staff is great and very friendly.
Just a really enjoyable experience staying here! We'll be back.

First impression is the his hotel had someone with a dream to have a boutique hotel with a vibe. Great front desk staff who really try to please and it comes off as genuine and authentic. But alas, it fell from grace from there. The upgraded room on the 6th floor is the same room everywhere else. Carpet shows traffic lines and bathroom is small. What's the first thing you do when you arrive. Wifi right? This hotel scores the lowest in speed 1.5 mbs. Half the minimum for chain hotels. Then you have access to the lounge which is two room spaces with the wall taken out and the ac didn't work so your in a 30 degree room in the afternoon sun and some trail mix as the treat. Breakfast there is a hard boiled egg and some pastries. If you want some edible protein you can go downstairs but no credit for not indulging in the hard boiled breakfast upstairs. Most places would give you some credit in the main restaurant.
An interior designer would be able to take this Palet and do something very interesting. Good location for the art museum and waterfront. Valet service was a reasonable mark up from self parking. Ac in the room worked wonderfully. Restaurant staff for breakfast we wonderful. Breakfast reasonably priced. Not worth the $325 when you put it all together.
