Went on the boat tour today with heavy fog. Didn't see much but it was a nice boat ride, staff were nice and helpful.

Great tour, well organised and a lot of fun. I had a 12 hour lay over in St. Johns and this 2 hour tour worked perfectly for me. Did the tour mid-July, and although there were no icebergs around at the time, we did come across a large group of humpback whales. Would definitely recommend this tour, whether you're in town for a few days or just passing by (or even a local trying out something new).
We took the Iceberg Quest tour in Twillingate and saw the most fantastic iceberg and a Minke whale. By keeping our ticket stub we got $5 off this tour. There were no icebergs but we saw puffins and one of the best whale displays you could hope for. We were in the middle of a group of about 15 Humpback whales feeding on capelin. We were just drifting and they came within about 15 to 20 feet of the boat. Having a Newfy Screetch and pepsi on board while watching the whales put it over the top. Thanks.
We did the tour out of beautiful Twillingate. From the moment we got to the dock we were interacting with the very friendly crew, Dean and Paul. We met a lot of friendly people in Newfoundland but these two were really great fellas. They were obviously very seasoned sailors/fishermen as they made everything they did look so easy. Captain/owner Barry gave a very informative and entertaining safety briefing and then took us out to newly scouted icebergs. It was honestly a magical experience. Very professional crew and excellent scenery. Worth every penny!
Iceberg Quest was a great tour to take while in Twillingate this past July. Twillingate is a lovely town to begin with and the iceberg capital of the world so, it is a must to take a boat tour to see them, and hopefully some whales too. We didn't see whales on our tour but I know it happens a lot, however, we got to see lots of icebergs and got up close and personal with a nice large one, the captain did a great job of getting us close to it and lots of angles for pictures, the cruise to and from was so smooth and the crew were fun! And they impart lots of knowledge upon you too. And, serve Quidi Vidi Iceberg Beer on board! If you are in Twillingate, book a tour with Iceberg Quest!
We took the tour out of Twillingate in early July. It takes a little drive to get there, but the cruise and scenery are more than worth it. The cruise was awesome as we got to see a lot of iceburgs, and the captain even took the boat all the way around a few of them so that we could get a goo view of them. Would definitely recommend this tour.
