This hostel is basically a house converted into a hostel. It houses travellers as well as some of the staff who work for the Tundra. It's probably the cleanest hostel I've ever seen (I'd be okay with going into the shower without flip flops). There is a lounge room, dining room, and kitchen. The room I stayed in was a 3-bed female dorm with plenty of space. There are two washrooms and I never had a problem with having to wait for the washroom although it was full. Very good price for Churchill and less than a 2 min walk to the grocery store, tours, beach and the Tundra bar/restaurant.

The Tundra House Hostel is a great choice if you want to see Churchill on a budget. Most of the hotels in Churchill are quite basic and pricey so why spend a ton a money when you can get a double room for $80 at the Hostel. The shared rooms are even cheaper. What we really loved about the accommodations is that you meet many like minded people like yourself who love to travel and see unique places. It was a highlight to exchange stories at the end of the day and eat meals togehter. It was also great having the convenience of having a kitchen to make some of our meals. The Wi-fi was good and no worries in keeping your luggage there past check out.

This is the only budget option in Churchill and turns out that it is a great place to stay! We loved having the community kitchen and dining area (which also helps to keep costs down) and the chance to meet other adventureers traveling independently in Churchill. I highly recommend this hostel!

Stayed 3 nights. Made some new friends. Every stay in a hostel is adventurous thanks to the people you'll meet. Plenty of space. Fast wifi, better than many hotels I've been to internet wise. Rooms were small but did the job. Inside got a little cool at night but there were two portable heaters to use which helped a lot. Cleaning guy who came by every afternoon was super friendly. Went out of his way to let us know that some last minute space had opened up on the next tundra buggy tour. We had been disappointed that we wouldn't be able to experience one but thanks to this guy we did and saw two polar bears up super close. Without his kind help our trip would not have been half as good, so thank you again! Hostel is also great about letting you stay past checkout time if your train is delayed like it usually is. For 35 bucks a night, you can't beat it.

We stayed here for one week in mid-June. The hostel is the perfect budget option offering cheap and comfortable rooms. There is a fully functioning kitchen, fast wifi, the shower is kept immaculately clean and the hostel is located in the heart of town!

It was perfect for us :)
