I had the privilege to visit Churchill for work and I opted to stay at the Seaport. It is perfectly located near "every" restaurant, near the train station / visitor center, and near most other businesses. You might say nothing is far in Churchill but in a town where you cannot walk much because of polar bear safety, location matters even more ;-) Staff was friendly. They picked me up at the airport and dropped me off at the end of my stay. Can't talk about the restaurant as it was closed during my stay. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

There are not a lot of choices in Churchill, and this hotel is acceptable. It was clean, reasonably comfortable, and we had all the necessary conveniences. The room was reasonably large, and included a double bed and a twin bed.

The front desk seemed to be unattended much of the time, but you could always find someone to take care of you if you went looking. When you saw a staff member they were friendly.

Plus, as an added bonus, the hotel has an attached restaurant. When we visited, in winter where it was minus 20 outside, being able to walk to the restaurant without having to put on our arctic clothing was a definite plus.

Clean room, basic amenities. Sheets could be replaced due to roughness and pilling. Non-smoking corridor, but stench of smoke breaks from laundry employees quite strong at times. Food basic and filling, but nothing special.

There are only 3 or 4 places to stay in Churchill and the Seaport is right in the middle of town. It is the largest hotel in town. Canada Day is a really fun day in Churchill and everything happens around the Seaport. Food is good. Service is sketchy as most people have two or three jobs.

Room tip: No elevators and no porter in this two-story hotel. You need to carry your own luggage to your room.

Stayed here with a tour group. The hotel is more than adequate for a trip to Churchill, Manitoba. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable, wifi included. The restaurant attached provided very large portions of a great variety for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Churchill is a beautiful, marvelous small town, with the most welcoming and friendly citizens. Visit with you can, I loved it.
