Lovely Hotel but Noisy

We arrived around one pm to Whistler. Our room wasnt ready but the very accomodating manager and desk attendants did everything possible to get it ready before 4 pm. The staff at this hotel are delightful and will go out of their way to make their guest feel like they are all VIPs. Our room was lovely. The only drawback is we were apparently on a main thoroughfare across from the fire station. We could have otherwise enjoyed our balcony if not for all the annoying loud crotch rockets that every 20 minutes zoom up the road. Obviously there is no noise ordinance or spped limit for Whistler Village. This makes it very unsettling for guest who stay at this particular hotel. Otherwise...it would have been a 5 star stay.

I am so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and found our staff to be friendly and helpful. I will definitely pass this feedback along to the front desk management team so that our staff can be recognised for their hard work. I apologise that you found your room to be noisy from the street, whilst we do everything possible to accommodate our guests sometimes things like traffic noise are outside of our control. One of the main benefits of our hotel is that we are so conveniently located in the heart of Whistler Village but we find in general though that we are a fairly quiet hotel. Although on busy holiday weekends I concede that there may be a little more traffic and noise disturbances from the surrounding village than is usual. We have another property in Whistler, Pan Pacific Mountainside. Our mountain-view suites there have balconies that overlook Whistler mountain which is a lovely place to sit out and relax at the end of a busy day of activities. We hope to welcome you back to Pan Pacific Whistler, at either of our properties, again soon.

First Class Experience !!

Our one night stay was a 10. World class experience in terms of staff, room and facilities. Easy access in and out of hotel. Located in quiet part of Whistler Village - near a great Starbucks and Keg Restaurant.

Room tip: We were on the 7th floor ---- great view

Nice to be back!

I have stayed at most of the 4/5 star hotels in Whistler over the years, and this Pan Pacific is a standout. Not right at the foot of lifts, which makes the hotel quieter and more private. The 1 br suites are large and extremely well laid out. No fancy lobby like the Fairmount or even Hilton/Westin with their shopping malls, but elegant and serviceable. Parking easily accessed. The pool/hot tubs are good, though not grand. The included breakfast is more than decent, but again, not sumptuous.

The decor is aging well. Now in its fifteenth year, they learned from their Mountainside property built a few years earlier, just what their demographic wants, and they deliver.

Room tip: Get south facing for best mtn. views. 1 br suites WAY better than studios.

Great location, clean and comfortable

Stayed for one night, wish we could of stayed longer. Location within villiage is excellent room was clean. Bed was and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. Pool area is great too.

What service!

We had an amazing stay here and were most impressed by the service, particularly the concierge. They went out of their way to help us get on the slopes as quickly and easily as possible. They allowed us to have a late check out and stored all of our stuff in a secure room. You could also use the ski lockers at the pan pacific mountainside so you don’t have to carry your skis. The complementary breakfast was very nice as well. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The pool was long enough to do laps which is something a lot of hotels don’t have. They upgraded our room for our anniversary which was so nice! The rooms are old as are all the hotels in whistler village but very clean and comfortable. We booked a very well priced massage at their spa and it was incredible! They had a promotion on and we got a 50 minute massage for $80 something. One of the best massages in recent memory! Would highly recommend this hotel!

It was a pleasure having you stay with us in Whistler and on behalf of the Pan Pacific Team we thank you for your kind words and hope you had a memorable anniversary trip with us. WE certainly do try to make our guests ski vacation as seamless as possible and our guests personal ski lockers are a great bonus. Having a lap pool seems to be a big hit with a lot of our guests so it is nice to hear you enjoyed this perk along with the complimentary hot buffet breakfast we serve each morning.
