“Bear Awareness Walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2012

This tour drove us around the outskirts of Whistler up to where they did the ski jumping for the winter olympics. We saw 4 Black Bear on the drive and 3 Deer. Our guide was full of information and knew all the little hidden spots like waterfalls were there was no one else around. We then went for a walk through an old growth forest. The guide pointed out various plants and the smallest mushroom I've ever seen. Excellent tour and totally beautiful scenery.

“Stunning skiing.”

I don't know how I am ever going to ski anywhere else. We had the most fantastic conditions and it was April. The top of Blackcomb was our favourite.

“Amazing Whistler Skiing Vacation!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2012

Excellent range of runs for all abilities on both mountains. Good mix of short and long runs.

All Mountain staff were very happy, and incredibly helpful in advising on which runs to take.

Restaurants reasonably priced, offering a good selection of food (including vegetarian).

Free access from Whistler Village to the Sliding Centre - take the Blackcomb Gondola up to mid-station, and then a short 5 minute walk across the slope and the car park.

“Awesome snow - iffy weather”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2012

We received several powder dumps which made for epic skiing. But there was lots of rain at lower elevations, and top most lifts were close due to wind for several hours. When the weather gets bad everyone concentrated on only a few lifts making for crowds.
