This hotel blew my mind.
Everybody was so helpful and genuine and the food at the bar was delicious.
Every details count and this Hotel is on top of my list when staying in Vancouver!

The staff from the moment you enter the premises go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Never overbearing, always friendly! My go to hotel in Vancouver whenever I will choose to travel next. The food and restaurant is spectacular as well!

My family and I stayed at the Loden at the end of November for 7 days and it was a great take off and landing point for all our Vancouver adventures. We arrived for check in on our first day and were pleasantly greeted by the friendly reception staff and even though we were early, we were quickly checked in and informed our room was ready (which was wonderful after a long morning of travel from the east coast). We booked the Loden double which has 2 double beds and our room was on the 6th floor. The room itself was nicely appointed, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern and I liked that the toilet was in a separate "closet". We did not make use of the tub, but it looked very inviting. The wall between the beds and the bathroom slides open which helps make the room feel bigger. The first night we were in town, we planned to attend the Canucks game and the front desk arranged for the Loden cab to drop us off at the arena, which was fun. They also gave us very good directions on taking the Skytrain back to the hotel, which was very convenient. The hotel is located near Burrard station which made it very easy to use the Skytrain to move around the city. We ate at the restaurant on numerous occasions, for brunch, lunch and dinner, as well as room service. I found the pricing to be fair and comparable to other surrounding restaurants. The most affordable time is during their daily happy hour, when they have specials and the hamburger is definitely worth the $10 happy hour price!! There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, as well as pharmacy (our son caught a cold while we were there). This hotel deserves its top rating not only for its location but for the quality of their staff and amenities. We would definitely return to the Loden.

Room tip: Use the Loden cab whenever you can, it is a great amenity!

Very comfortable. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating! The room was beautiful, as a designer it appreciated the use of the space, the bathroom was very functional and the millwork was perfect for storing my belongings - very functional. The only negative was the lack of lighting in the entry, unfortunate that with a beautiful full length mirror behind the barn door you couldn't really see yourself due to the lack of lighting or see into the full height millwork storage. I loved the coffee and the evening service of coming into the room with bedside water ready - everything is in the details.

hey folks. the staff was really sweet and extremely helpful. definitely the highlight of my stay was the staff. great restaurant reviews and always kind and caring. who ever does your staff training should def get a raise!!
