We happened upon Spicy 6 while out for a walk along Robson Street on a Friday night and went upstairs for a look. The warm décor, table linen, candles, and fragrance of delicious cooking drew us in to try the food. We ordered our favourites: butter chicken, aloo gobi, naan, and rice pulao. The portions were generous, the food was served hot and kept hot on the table, and everything was delicious Complimentary poppadoms with tamarind and coriander sauces were served while we waited. Extra points were earned with a good non-alcoholic beer poured from a chilled bottle and for getting the level of spiciness exactly where we like it. The service was excellent. All the staff we spoke to were very pleasant, our food came quickly, and three separate staff members checked with us to ensure we were enjoying our meal. We certainly were! We also enjoyed the view of the holiday lights on Robson Street from our window table. Tiny, fresh poinsettias in red pots on the tables were a pretty, festive, finishing touch.
