Description: Chef Whittaker’s vision features dishes that are unpretentious and innovatively prepared using products sourced from local and organic farmers, fishers and producers whenever possible. These combine for a menu featuring snacks such as “crackling & popcorn”; a variety of creative “boards” and “irons” to share; tasty “plates” to nosh on together or enjoy solo as a main; and desserts for a sweet (and a bit savoury) finish.

One would not expect to make a reservation for 9am for Sunday Brunch ......oh but you do....especially if you want to indulge in an adventure of the most freshest food .....beautifully prepared and plated..the blank canvas filled with artistic flair makes Brunch at Forage a “must do” on a Sunday.

Thank you for fitting us in at the very last minute...we never felt hurried and your wonderful people made us feel very welcomed.

Until the next visit..we wish you well.

Thank Stephanie G

We waited 30 minutes to get in. After getting in they took our luggage and kept it safe by the host stand. We sat at the bar which was still a lovely place to eat. Regardless of where you sit you still get a beautiful view of the restaurant. I got a side of bacon, the eggs Benedict and my boyfriend got the same but gluten free (they switched out the English muffin for their GF alternative). The food came out quickly and we were not disappointed. Only complaint was that the water had a faint ocean smell.

Wonderful, creative cooking. The imagination that goes into the menu is so impressive. Really delicious too! Relaxed and stylish venue with attentive and friendly waiting staff. The young woman who waited our table was superb.

Nice restaurant that is well located on Robson Street.

This place uses the small plates and local foods concept. Almost all wines on the list are from BC - and BC makes great wines!

The physical setting is nice, clean, and comfortable. This is a happening place with a nice hubbub and buzz, but not too much as to prevent discussions. The waiter was very knowledgeable but came across as a bit pretentious (but not offensively so -it was cute).

My main disappointment was the food. The ingredients were of high quality but everything we ordered was a bit bland. The ingredients did not come together as planned which made the entire experience a bit overpriced for what it was.

We dined here on a visit to Vancouver. Our meal may not have been representative since we were here during Restaurant Week and there was a prix fixe menu with limited choices. Menu is also limited by the restaurant's philosophy to showcase only very local ingredients. I didn't love what I ordered (except for the dessert, a sweet cream filled puffy pastry) but I did love the wine pairings, and the opportunity to create a custom wine pairing for only $18. We sat in a small room off to the side and the noise level was acceptable.
