Staff is genuine and invested in service.
When we started at the the front desk, it was a peek into excellent customer service- dealing with questions, multiple booked stays that had to bridged into one visit...from housekeeping to the diligent staff working breakfast- all were pleasant, present and seemed genuine- not like they just went through a customer service training video!

The location is good, went for a walk on the seawall, you can take the putt-putt to Granville island nearby.

Love the that the fitness centre was on the top floor, lots of windows and felt spacious.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Not only the location was great, but the service was impeccable!.. the food quality of the complimentary breakfast was unbelievably good and right on Robson.. a short walk to good restaurants and the train station!. Across the street from stadium!.. can’t get any better than this!

We we impressed with the staff friendliness in this Hampton. The breakfast on site was very good as well. Rooms were clean and comfortable and they had complimentary bicycles for hotel guest. They even provided limited shuttle service. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance.

We had a very nice, spacious corner room (#1104) at the Hampton Inn with lots of room to move around, store our clothing, and a lot of light with windows on two walls of the room. The refrigerator was larger than most hotel refrigerators, which is perfect for someone traveling with a lot of food. There is also coffee/tea in the room. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of counter space to have toiletries spread out. The beds were really comfy and had lots of pillows to that each person had at least two pillows.

The hotel had a nice fitness room with multiple treadmills and elliptical machines in it. It also had weights and mats for lifting and yoga. The hot tub area was spacious and well kept. They also have onsite coin-operated laundry if needed and also had a laundry service to have your laundry and dry cleaning completed for you.

Breakfast is included each day for all. For a regular eater, there were many choices to pick from the buffet area: assorted juices, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt, assorted cereals and breads, oatmeal with toppings of your choice, hot eggs (either scrambled or plain omelet), some sort of breakfast meat (sausages, ham, bacon, etc), and waffle makers to make your own waffle and top it as you please! Everyone can find something to eat here, even us gluten challenged folks! I always like it when the hotel includes breakfast...its easy and I can always start the day full.

In terms of location, Hampton inn is only two blocks from the Sky Train, and near several bus stops, making it a convenient jumping off point for public transit to get you to Vancouver attractions. The hotel also has a shuttle that you can easily reserve starting at 7am day of that will drive you anywhere in the downtown area...we used it to get to a Sky Train stop to get us to the airport (since the shuttle doesn't go to the airport). The hotel is also close to the trendy Gastown and Yaletown neighborhoods, making it easy to walk to many of the restaurants and attractions we wanted to visit in Vancouver.

I would certainly stay here again. Not super fancy, but certainly functional and easy to be a traveler at this hotel.

Room tip: Our corner room had tons of light and a view of the stadium (#1104)

Just left the hotel a few days ago and once again I was pleasantly surprised at what a great location they have. Very close to some great restaurants in the area. I would not recommend the restaurant that adjoins the hotel. Rooms were great and the staff was even better.
