We always stay 2-3 times a year at this location.mainly due to the fact it’s a great hotel local to home and we enjoy the gold lounge and the Sushi bar. We did feel however that the evening hors d’oeuvres are slowly diminishing in quality and variety over the last 5 years..

The service at every point was beyond great from check in to check out and everything in between. The location is perfect - close to the sea wall and with a great view of the harbour and the north shore mountains.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and had a room overlooking the water. What an incredible view! This hotel is 5 star all the way from the in room dining to the nightly live music in lobby bar to the on call complimentary BMW car service. The service was on point from beginning to end: front desk, housekeeping crew, car service driver, and concierge. Special shout out to Vince, one of the BMW car drivers. He gave really good recommendations and talked about the history of Vancouver as he drove us around. He even waited to see if we'd have a long wait at a popular brunch restaurant in case we didn't want to wait. Again, 5 star all the way.

Our stay at the Fairmont was pretty near perfect, except for that one bed pillow with a disgusting smell. I'm surprised that they don't sanitize the pillows, given that they are obviously a hotel catering to people who demand the best.

Highly recommend this hotel. It's an incredible experience from start to finish. It's beautiful - from the gorgeous lobby to the luxurious rooms and opulent rooftop! Great location too - the scenery is beautiful.
