I initially chose this B&B because it had a cute website, the rooms looked nice and well kept, the house looked cute, and of course, it got a good review on trip advisor. None of these did justice to how FABULOUS this bed and breakfast is! Margo and her husband Christian are wonderful! They welcomed us with a smile and stories, offered up numerous suggestions for things to do and places to eat (which again were fantastic suggestions).
We stayed in the spacious "Oriental Room" which had its own balcony, an incredibly comfortable bed, a large ensuite, lots of place to stow our gear, and such charm. The room itself (and the whole house for that matter) was decorated with such care and no details were missed (a little pair of lavender reading glasses on one side of the bed beside a little tie of lavender in a vase, magazines about things to do in BC incl. wine tour suggestions). When we returned from our night out, we even found little chocolates on our pillows, with our beds turned down. We noticed every little touch and appreciated them fully.
To top off our wonderful stay, we woke up to the best breakfast we had on our entire trip. Margo prepared a feast! and an incredible one at that. Again, little details were present. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
This was an experience my family and I will never forget! The suite was beautiful, comfortable and spotless. The best part of our stay was waking up each morning to a
five star breakfast cooked by the owner and served outside in the courtyard under the cherry tree. Really the best food I have had in a hotel/ b&b. We will be returning!
