Our family (and some of our friends we bring along) have stayed at this B & B several times. Our visit always begins with prompt email communication between Pat and Sam to assist with our stay. Pat and Sam are "people" people - they are very welcoming, very sociable - and they express a sincere interest in our visits - always wanting to make our visits more comfortable. The breakfasts they make are excellent, gourmet and fulfilling! Their home is impeccably clean with all amenities provided. The spacious rooms are well prepared and there are always welcome baskets, chocolates and sherry. The wifi was speedy on all occasions when we used it. This accommodation is well-suited for families, couples or groups travelling together. Our children really enjoy how pampered they are when they visit MacQueen Manor - little care packages or goody bags are always provided for the children. The location is quiet and handy - sufficient parking as well. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast which provides excellent value for the price. Thanks Pat and Sam for your continued hospitality. Marianne

We spent two nights at MacQueen's Manor. They are wonderful hosts, and she is a gourmet
cook. The breakfasts were a delight. We like B&B's, and tend to stay in ones where
we have a good experience.

We enjoyed the lively conversation with our hosts. They gave us a good perspective on
all things Canadian.

Room Tip: The room on the first level is preferable as it has a sitting area.

This was certainly different. A beautiful home with a difference put together by Pat and Sam who are a wonderful couple and made us all very welcome. The rooms are beautiful, we stayed in the blue room on the ground floor and had plenty of space and the added advantage of a kitchenette area. The breakfasts were amazing and Pat loved to bake giving us home cooked muffins at breakfast, (even catered for my gluten free diet which was very much appreciated). Sam's presentation of the fresh fruit at breakfast was a work of art. We had use of a beautiful lounge and terrace area. A B & B we would highly recommend.

Room Tip: All the rooms were excellent. Spoilt for choice.

This was a unique place to stay, full of dolls and pretty things that all women like, pampered is the word here Pat and Sam make sure you enjoy your stay and love to bake for you and like a good chat especially at breakfast, The attention to detail is extraordinary in a B&B wherever you sit there is a book or a doll or something of interest to catch your eye, rooms are comfortable with all the "stuff" you need and more. A large patio outside to view the scenery or take a walk to the local pub serving good food and a selection of beers on tap. We stayed two nights to break our journey from Jasper to Whistler and again TA gave us another gem. If you are the social type, then this is for you, if not, find a Motel.

Room Tip: The blue room is downstairs (no lifts) and very spacious, we had the pink room, very comfortable but upstairs with the luggage.

What a delightful stay we had in the blue room at MacQueens' Manor. Sam and Patricia know how to make you feel really pampered yet right at home. From the lovely flowers decorating landscaping the yard to the wonderful view of the mountains from their deck - the ambience was lovely. But EVEN with all the amenities in our room the BEST part was the deluxe breakfast. Starting with a delicious fruit cup topped with a yogurt topping and a chocolate wafer served in a goblet of fine china - along with to die for pineapple blueberry muffins - and an egg soufflé with bacon and toast and a choice of jams and juices and plenty of coffee and tea. So scrumptious my mouth waters thinking of it. Pat and Sam are a great team and enjoy their role as hosts for people from all over the world. We highly recommend this lovely couple and their B&B.

Room Tip: All the rooms looked good. We had the blue room on the ground floor - the other rooms are upstairs - so if you don't want to take your suitcases up and down - the blue room is the best pick.
