We ate here on our first night in Jasper, and were pleased with both the food and the service. The menu was a bit limited, but it did include options for game lovers, simple meat eaters, fish, and one vegetarian/vegan item-- so it fit the bill for us.
I had the Mushroom Carpaccio for an appetizer and the Gardner's Pie (lentils with mushrooms, tomato & sweet potato), and my husband had the 3-meat meatballs and a steak with mac&cheese. There was more than enough food--particularly as the meal also came with an amuse bouche to start, biscuits, focaccia, and a palette cleansing granita. And, everything was beautifully presented, prepared properly, and tasty.
The service was spot-on, not overly attentive but there when you needed it.
Note that the menu is based on ordering at least two courses-- which must include a main, and either an appetizer or dessert. But, you can have as many additional appetizers/desserts as you like.
The desserts looked good, but we just didn't have any room left for them.
A very solid choice for dinner in Jasper.
