I loved this restaurant! I was surprised to see the bad reviews. I ordered the seafood trio of salmon, lobster and shrimp. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It also came with the most delicious biscuits that were melt in your mouth! Our server was wonderful. He even helped show my son how to crack and open his crab legs. This will be my new favourite restaurant when visiting Edmonton. I wish we had one where I live.
I will say that I have been to the one in Calgary and was not so impressed with my meal at that one.

The king crab was not even close to being fresh, the shell was so soft and it tasted so dry and disgusting - it was not worth 35$. The lobster tail didn't taste that great either and the butter was cold. I paid 60$ for a lunch I didn't enjoy and we didn't have time to wait for the slow service to order something else. I use to love red lobster but the last few times have been terrible. I don't mind paying good money for good food but it's not worth the money anymore and I will not be back. Joeys seafood is much better, I suggest going there instead.

We thought we would try Red Lobster again for the new Lobster Cavatappi we saw advertised. We have been to Red Lobster many times and each time say that it will probably be the last time because it really isn't that great but thought we'd give it another chance. We were warned by the waitress that the pasta we wanted to try was very salty and indeed it was. We also ordered the roasted Maritime Lobster bake and unfortunately the lobster was so salty I couldn't eat it. I'm not usually one to complain about salt but this was ridiculous. The salad has changed and seemed quite wilted. Was not a pleasant experience and will be a long time before we go back again.

Tired and hungry the four of us just wanted a nice meal in a comfortable setting. We were seated right away. Our waitress was eventually exceptionally engaging and very friendly. During the first half of the meal it would be way too long between visits to either deliver food or to check on us. As the meal progressed, she was much more engaging and really made us feel welcome. The garlic shrimp were good. The fried seafood platter was poor. The shrimp, scallops, fish, and clams were all mushy, nowhere near crisp. The taste was bland. The piece of fish served with the platter was laughable compared to the photo in the menu. Shrimp and pasta with cream sauce was just OK. Had to search hard to find any melted chocolate in the chocolate chip lava cookie.

How did this restaurant deteriorate like it has? House salad had iceberg and three tomatoes. The stuffed mushrooms have changed over the years and not for the better. The lobster was good.shrimp skewer was as well, but hard to remove tail after being grilled. Service was slow
