Stayed at the hotel when we came to town to take in a concert. Has a great location in the trendy little Kensington area which is also right close to downtown. It is a busy area but we had no problems with noise or anything. We had a room that faced out the rear side of the hotel - although you look onto an alley - they were quiet. Can not comment about the other rooms.

Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Nice linens and bathrobes. The in-room fireplace was a nice touch. Wifi is included as well.

Sounds strange but the pillows were too big for us - but otherwise the room was great.

Hotel staff was equally great. Each one was professional, polite and helpful. Greeted by name when we drove into the underground parkade and escorted to the front desk as well as to our room. They certainly treat their guests well. The blonde lady with the accent who was on the front desk when we came in late after the concert was extraordinarily nice and seemed very genuine.

We had a nice breakfast in the morning. Table service in an more cozy atmosphere. Not like those morning free-for-alls that you get in the larger hotels.

It is not a good choice of a hotel for budget travelers as there are lower costs options but you certainly get a more personal level of service here. The old adage of you get what you pay for rings true.

Does not have a gym or a pool but we rarely if ever use these in any event.

I would stay again.

This is a beautiful smal boutique hotel with stylish design and decor. The staff and service were seamlessly warm and capable. The room and bed were cozy and soothing. The breakfast we had was a culinary delight and we felt carefully attended to.

A good quality option for proximity to downtown and near the trendy Kensington district. The Chef's Table restaurant served a lovely breakfast and the service throughout our stay was exceptionally good.

Kensignton Riverside Inn was a wonderful weekend getaway spot. We stayed here for one night in the fall and enjoyed a room with a fireplace and lots of little extras like house made chocolates in the room. We were greeted in the parking garage and our bags were carried up to the front desk. We were given a tour of the premises and shown to our room. Chef's Table, the hotel restaurant was fantastic and easily accommodated celiac. I was very impressed with the inn overall and I would consider going back!

Room tip: You can make requests when you book. You can ask for things like a fireplace in your room or a balcony.
