I have often been to Banff, but this is the first time I visited the restaurant. Which was quite tricky up find the entrance of, but once I made it there I was instantly greeted by the staff who were very friendly. Although the restaurant is quite dated compared to a lot of the restaurants on Banff Avenue, I didn't let this put me off.
There were two of us dining and both very hungry. So ordered the Beef & Tofu Hotpot and Beef BBQ and a side of Pork Dumplings.
We started off with the Hotpot and it arrived quickly and was well presented, the broth was very tasty and so were many of the side dishes. The dumplings were well seasoned and were the perfect mix. We finished off with the Korean BBQ. I have had Korean BBQ before in the UK. But the waiter explained how to best eat Seoul BBQ. Again I can't complain, it was very enjoyable.
We did not manage to eat all our food and considering the amount we did order, including drinks came to around $106. Quite honestly we had enough for three people.
