Only stayed one night but very friendly and accommodating. Free parking under hotel, small but enjoyable cave pool, very clean rooms and well used bar & restaurant to save you going out if you want that. Centrally located so only short walk/ drive to many other facilities/attractions. Good facilities in room to self cater if required as well. All in all a nice little stop over that was good value for the price paid and would not hesitate to stay again if in the area.

This hotel is in an excellent location on the edge of town, with plenty of underground parking. We had continental breakfast included in our rate for our 2 night stay and it was fine. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, which I guess is what you expect in North America. We used the restaurant one night, which was good, nothing flash but filling food.
The hotel has reciprocal agreement with other hotels in town so that you can charge restaurant/drinks to your hotel room. Therefore, 2nd night we ate in the Keg a few doors away which was very good.
We also liked the chalet feel to the hotel and the square open top verandahs on floor 3 & 4 gave great views of the Rockies around us, we were extremely lucky, the weather was fantastic!
Our one gripe was the room, we knew it would probbaly be small but we didnt expect it to be dark, there was one light in the corner above a small wardrobe and 2 bedside lights and that was it. It was so dark we couldnt see how to use the coffee machine without torches from our mobile phone, same with the TV, both situated around a bureau with no light which we found strange.
However, we would stay here again but make sure we have a suite.

We came here at the end of our wonderful holiday in Canada for 3 nights. I will get one of the few negatives out of the way first: when we arrived, bang on check in time the whole housekeeping team were in the foyer/lobby, making it hard to squeeze through to the desk, not something to expect at peak check in time. We had a little trouble finding our room as the directions weren’t great. Once we found it we were amazed at how superior to any of the other hotels on our Canada trip it was. There was an upstairs downstairs aspect, kitchen and living area above and sleeping below. Thankfully there was a window at the bottom as it would have felt like a dungeon!! Unlike some places the coffee and tea was refilled each day meaning we didn’t need to buy anything. We had breakfast here which was adequate, not amazing, people seem to be obsessing over the waffle machine, but that didn’t really appeal to us. The time year we went meant that there were quite a lot of noisy kids, thankfully they seemed to be put on the other side of the hotel to ours. Dinner at chillis was nice, we did a separate review, but was nice as we didn’t have to go far. The room backed on to a sleepy road in which we could park our car on for easy access, one day we got to see a elk roaming along the road from the front of the room!! The head of housekeeping was amazing!! Ever so enthusiastic and eager to help, never met a hotel staff member as great as him, he showed us how to work the washing machines that were a bit temperamental, we had so long chats with him about the town and where to go as well as some history behind the hotel, honestly made this stay the best on our trip. We rented bikes from the front of the hotel in which we cycled out of town and back, what wonderful views, very reasonable price for such a good experience. The hot pool was very nicely themed and fairly warm, although it did break down while we were there. In terms of walking distance, it is not very far to the center, nor is it far from the station, just a bit of a walk. While we were here we spent one day in lake Louise, one day cycling and exploring the town and the last day getting our final shopping in.
Lovely hotel with lovely wooden architecture, if ever here I will most definitely stay here again. Thank you for the stay.

Just left a wonderful two night stay at the Fox. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and the hotel complementary upgraded us to a 4th floor loft suite... wow! Was a really good room, no issues at all.

Hot pool in the cave, a must for anyone. Breakfast an added bonus, nothing really to shout home about, but set us up for the day.

Free WiFi, comfy bed, free breakfast, 10 mins to downtown or take the free bus from the stop right outside.

Really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here one night on way to Lake Louise. Our room was on the small side and kind of cluttered with furnishings, but in this location you aren’t going to spend a lot of time in the room anyway. They have the Red Earth Spa with a great hot tub. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The breakfast was just adequate.
