Had a fantastic stay here recently. April is a fantastic host and her breakfasts are restaurant quality! Within easy walking distance of the town centre, and includes parking. Definitely stay here if you're looking for a B&B in Banff.

The location of At Wit's End allows you to tour the town of Banff without worrying about where to park. And the lovely yard is the perfect place to sit in the shade and get away from the heat and the crowds. April is very welcoming and she makes a great breakfast. If I go to Banff again I want to stay here!

April is a lovely hostess, friendly & helpful with info about the area. The rooms are very clean & have everything we need -- extra blankets (in case), hair dryer, soap, lotion, good mattress. The common area has fridge, toaster & microwave, tea, coffee, & snacks available. The breakfasts are great -- we were there for 6 days & had something different each day. There's outdoor seating in the yard & on the patio. It's within easy walking distance to town & many trails. Over all, it's a perfect place to stay when seeing Banff & driving up to Lake Louise (by the way -- if going to Lake Louise, especially during high season, drive to the huge overflow parking area & take a bus the last few km, otherwise you'll get to Lake Louise only to be turned back because the lot is smaller & fills up really early). And stop by Bow Lake on the way back -- the water was so beautiful, turquoise, I actually cried. Great vacation spot!

Room Tip: the 2 back rooms have ensuite washrooms, which is convenient.

My husband and I spent one night here and it was fabulous. April is so kind, made us a wonderful breakfast, and helped us to know where to explore and what to see. The room was clean, bed was comfy and shower was excellent. Highly recommend At Wits End.

Room Tip: Queen suite has own bathroom.

We stay in a lot of B&Bs while traveling, and this one was one of the best. April is very welcoming and accommodates your schedule for breakfast. She also has many suggestions for the best spots around town, such as restaurants, things to do, and hikes. The breakfasts she makes are wonderful and large - far from the bare continental breakfasts that so many places provide - including meals of breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, fruit, yogurt, potatoes, etc. She took into account our allergies as well, which was great.

The room itself was very comfortable. We had a room with a private bath. Not that you should spend much time in your room! The B&B is a short walk across the (gorgeous) pedestrian bridge to Banff Avenue. There's onsite parking and several trailheads close by, including a few within walking distance. It's a short drive to the gondola and the hot springs (I don't suggest walking it, due to no sidewalk). We always walked to dinner and lunch and shops, but it was a short hop to get onto the Trans Canada Highway to get to further-flung reaches of the park too. Banff itself is charming and beautiful. We will definitely return!
