Might be a function of new employees for the season, but there wasn't much communication between the concierge who booked our tee time and dinner, the club house and the starter. It was an insult to find out our tee time was moved and then after a FAB round of golf (the course was gorgeous), the club house restaurant was closed for an employee event. It was pouring rain by then, and after a 20 minute wait, the hotel made good by sending us up to the hotel (in golf attire!) for dinner in a lounge. Great food and impeccable service redeemed the gaff, but there was no apology and nothing offered for current or future business. Is that 5 star service? Not in our world.
