Very comfortable hotel, not quite in downtown Banff but the roam bus stop is about 20 yards away and your room keycard is a free ticket for the bus which will take you downtown and to Sulphur Mountain. Well equipped rooms, the hotel is having a new roof but the work isn’t disturbing the guests

For the price - we were surprised by the size of the rooms with 2 queen rooms. You will have at least 6-8 tourbuses arrive each day at 6:30 at night - crowd the lobby and restaurant, and elevators - then make lots of noise, then leave at 6:30 a.m. with buffet breakfast - and crowd elevators and lobby in a.m. rinse repeat. The internet range in the room was terrible as we had to go to lobby to get a signal. The Keg is a chain restaurant with average food from a freezer. This hotel looks nice on outside, but not so great inside....as well - THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING! ONLY FANS PROVIDED IN ROOMS. JUST A HEADS UP! For the price, no air conditioning,
Best part - friendly check in people, friendly staff as our pull out bed did not have bedding in room for our son so we had to call down for assistance and they helped out, but it was a bummer to arrive to the room that did not have everything we needed. It was just okay at best.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere closer to town, and try to avoid rooms facing the busy street

This hotel is about a ten minute walk from downtown Banff. Very comfortable rooms with lots of rustic ornamentation. Food in restaurant was ok. Room was very small ! But comfortable bathroom was nice. Free WiFi

Stayed here as part of a Rocky Mountaineer tour. Lovely hotel not far from the centre. Enjoyable breakfast. Room could have had a better view but you can't have everything as Banff makes up for any shortcomings.

Stayed two nights on our tour of Canada. Banff is a lovely town set in the most delightful scenery and the Caribou Lodge is equally charming. We ate in the hotel on one of the evenings and the food was excellent. The drinking water at the hotel was the best I have ever tasted, crystal clear and as fresh as the mountain air
