We got married on April 19 and had our reception for 110 people in An Grianan Hotel. The team were amazing from the 1st day - Mandy (our wedding co-ordinator) not only met but far exceeded our expectations, Many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they were ever at - An Grianan played a major part in that feedback! Every aspect of our reception was perfect (food amazing, service professional and really friendly) Their ability to pre empt your needs was superb - keep up the good work - i only hope we get to attend a wedding there sometime,,

Room Tip: Members of the team who stood were Mandy, Walter, Dessie and Clare but all in all everyone did a sup...

stopped off at 'an grianan' on the way home from a shopping trip to derry, we (5 ladies) had barfood, we all had a starter (i had the mushrooms.. yummy!) and a main course ( i had the chicken & pasta in a creamy sauce... yum yum!!! +) we had a bottle of the house white which was only 12.95 and was really nice! i would recommend to anyone passing to stop off... ;)

Hi all, the food is delisious and the staff Friendly, but i must admit, the desert was my downfall, just to darn good, but just had to taste, but so bad on the hips

We went here for a wedding, on the door was a well presented gentleman and inside was cocktails an tea. Attentive staff and crisp an clean hotel. Food was delicious every dish. Room was spacious and well presented. Unfortunately we got a room at the main entrance which meant we got no sleep, that was the real downfall, you could literally hear everything, they would need to sound proof the rooms better! It is next to a busy road so is not set in the most pleasant surroundings but the hotel is lovely.

We had a celebratory two day break at An Grianan 3/4 March 2012, which I booked at the very last minute, and how glad we were we picked that particular hotel. First of all we had a really nice room, complimentary coffees whilst we waited to book in - we arrived very early - and each member of staff we met was really friendly, helpful and nice. We ate in the bar on Saturday evening and the food and service was good, with more friendly, helpful, chatty staff.
Breakfast was good in a nice fresh, clean dining room and we really enjoyed our excellent dinner in the Old Church Restaurant on Sunday .
This is a great hotel with the nicest staff I have ever encountered in any hotel in any country.
