Great place, attention to detail and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is delicious, be sure to order chilaquiles with scrambled eggs. The best ever! They also offer gated garage, which is super convenient.

A comfortable place, clean, with modern bathroom facilities, comfortable bed, a nice courtyard to have breakfast and read in, and some couches to relax on. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast with fruit, yoghourt, granola, juice, tea coffee and toast. Fairly central location. I just wouldn't book the Azahar room again, as it is right next to reception, so you hear the door bell every time someone enters, and even with earplugs you still hear it if you go to bed early (it gets turned down later at night) and when the receptionists talks to guests directly or on the phone, you hear every word, so I didn't sleep that well. Sound travels very well there. I liked the hotel a lot though, so I would just book a different room next time.

The hotel is just a few blocks off the main road and in a residential area. Very quiet and clean room. We stayed two nights and arrived after dinner both nights. Best sleep I've had in months! A real value for the cost. The installations were very clean and well maintained. The hot water for the shower required a little patience but worked well. The staff was very attentive and helpful as well. Breakfast was just right and delicious. Will definitely being staying again on our next visit.

Room Tip: The entire hotel was quiet while we were there

This is a nice place. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was made to order. The courtyards were a great addition in a big bustling city.
The room was great, plenty of closets. The bath was very large and clean.
We will visit here again.

I question all the positive reviews here; seems either a little suspect based upon my experience or the place has changed. We arrived in the evening and asked about places for dinner. We were presented with a binder of what looked like photos of fast-food from... fast food joints, all which were closing in 30 minutes. No real dinner place. Not sure where people are eating around there when they talk of great places to eat.

Room was fine but faced the enclosed courtyard where "breakfast" is served (more on that later) which had a glass ceiling, which meant everything echoed!!! Middle of the night or super early morning (past midnight) someone's breaking up what sounds like tiles, and then using a shop vac to clean up. Being that the only window in the room faces this enclosed courtyard, it's really loud and keeps us awake. WTF? What are they thinking? Hotel said they provided water in the room for guests; wasn't sure if they were referring to the one plastic bottle of water that had already been opened and half full. Really? The "energy saving" hot water.... did save energy by giving you about a minute of hot water, followed by cold cold cold. I could tell there were some kind of instructions on how to use it, in Spanish, which didn't help us. Strange that everything else had both English and Spanish instructions, except this. Weird. Breakfast was some fruit, toast with margarine and jam, and then a plop of sad scrambled eggs and a plop of refried beans. Not exactly "made to order" as other's have said. Coffee, no cream but only a non-dairy powder. No black tea, only "lemon"???? Strange.

The place was a couple blocks off the main busy street, which was nice, but everything was pretty bunkered down like a war zone. I'm sure it isn't, but I don't think I would be comfortable walking anywhere around there in the day, and especially at night!!! I guess if you lived in Leon maybe the place would be like your grandmother's house and neighborhood, but given all the oddities that piled up between the half drank water bottle to the patio construction noise in the middle of the night, I just didn't get the feeling like they knew or had any idea what it means to provide a comfortable experience of value to customers. Maybe a more experienced GM, (if that's a position even employed there) would help to bring about changes with awareness.

ps: I rated this as "quirky", but not in the good sense.

Dear Mrkjhn:

We appreciate you taking the time to write us and share your review about your experience, for us it is very useful and serves us to improve. Your comment is very extensive, so we will also allow ourselves to be able to respond to your concerns.

First, we want to share to you that the generous reviews of our other guests are genuine, you have the freedom, as a TripAdvisor user, to interact with the other guests to know more about them and how was their stay with us. Also, we invite you to corroborate the truth in other portals like Booking, Expedia, Kayak, etc. There is no conspiracy to suspect.

We are located just 10 minutes walking from one of the liveliest places in Leon and it is where you can find a lot of restaurants, which you have to go. Certainly, very few offer home service after 10 PM and we can’t do anything about it. Probably this is dismaying for you because in Mexico is not usual the 24/7 culture in restaurants.

As for the noise of your room, we are completely missed, as we are committed to the rest and well-being of our guests. If you noticed something, it must have been outside the hotel, as we are not doing any maintenance or early noise.

If you experienced any inconvenience with the water, you should have come with us, we would have been happy to support you. The reason the sign is in Spanish is because we are in Mexico and the people who visit us usually know that it is the language with which we communicate. We will take your comment into account and add a sign in English so that it does not seem strange to those who visit us.

The breakfast we offer, as indicated by all the portals where we advertise, is American, which consists of coffee or tea, juice or fruit and a dish. In this case was (organic) eggs with some beans. This breakfast is very typical and appreciated in our country. In addition, we want to share with you that all supplies are purchased in local markets to preserve the freshness of food and support the local economy.

Regarding the area where we are located, we want to tell you that we are only 3 blocks from downtown and it was the richest neighborhood in Mexico in the 20's to 50's. The street in which it is located is safe, so you should not fear for your life.

Maybe we did not understand you, but we will try. The GM (a position that surprisingly exists in Mexico and in Entre Patios) is already aware of your experience and wishes you that, if you decide to visit us again, you can live and appreciate the culture and values of our country, city and hotel. We are very proud of them.

P.S. Quirky is good in every sense. It enriches us and makes us special. Thank you for showing us other points of view.
