For 3 nights, my fiance and I stayed in La Casita, one of Cliff's air conditioned, little houses with its own kitchen and bathroom. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was excellent- right on the Mulege River.
We stayed in 5 different hotels while in Baja and this was by far the best of them all. Each house and room of Cliff's had a lot of character with cute design details and charm.
We stayed one more night in one of the rooms in the Hacienda. We chose Clementine's room because it was the largest of the 4. Just like La Casita, it was very comfortable, spacious, and clean with a great air conditioner to beat the hot, humid nights.
On our next Baja adventure we hope to bring our kids and friends with us. And of course we'll stay at Cliff's!

On our recent, and first, visit to Mulege, we had the pleasure of staying at Clementine's Oasis for several days. In a word, it was wonderful! It is just across the road from the river, is squeaky-clean, has what may be the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in, has an excellent kitchen outdoors for guest use, and has a host (Cliff) who can't be beat. Cliff made us feel totally at home and provided us with a world of information about the area. It is apparent that he will do anything that he can to ensure that his guests have the best possible experience. As an example, when we arrived, my wife had a most unpleasant cold that she had picked up in La Paz, and the medications she was taking were doing absolutely no good. Cliff was kind enough to provide her, at no cost, with (non-prescription) medications from the U.S. that he had on hand. The outcome was a much more pleasant stay in Mulege than she would have otherwise had. Finally, our small dog was welcome. We will definitely stay at Clementine's the next time we visit Mulege and we highly recommend it to others. Thanks for everything, Cliff!

My spouse has traveled to Mulege for many years, but for the last 4 years she and I have stayed at Cliff Taylors' Clemtines Bed and Breakfast. Cliff and his staff are the most gracious hosts, providing guidance and information to sights, food and things to do. Absolutely the best in B.C.S. As far as accomodations, the cleanest, best decorated and most colorful in town. We will continue to visit for at least a month each year to come.

Room Tip: Call or e-mail Cliff with your needs.

I have stayed at Clementines for the past two years with groups of friends. We have had a wonderful time there. The hosts are very accommodating. The rooms are spotlessly clean and we love the kitchen facilities. Better sheets than in any hotel. There is a great place for breakfast just 3 doors toward the ocean. Kayaks are available to paddle the river. Prices are very reasonable. Best place to stay in Mulege!

We were planning to stay at Clementines Mulegé for two days but we could barely resist one night. Our suite was full of disgusting insects called cockroaches. Although they are not the dirty type, as they come from the nearby river, it is terrible to find at least eight during a single night!
Beware!
However, the charm of Mulegé is incredible and this place shouldn't dissuade you from visiting. Just don't stay here!
