Stayed at this location for two nights, the service and attention were excellent. They have a free shuttle service (however you must call aheat to be on their list). This shuttle service can take you in the morning to a facility in the industrial area (also free), again, you must reserve a spot. Contrary to other Holiday Inn's, here they make you feel welcome if you are a member of the hotel's Priority Club (frequent stay program). There is no luxury in the rooms, but works well for a business traveler. My comment about that is good for small kids is based on a large playground and a beautiful pool. I will return to this hotel.

Room Tip: First floor as there is no elevator in the back rooms.

Good if you are doing business somewhere near by. some towels where a bit dirty and the seccond bed cover had some weird spots on it... not the cleaniest hotel. The free airport shuttle was a big plus.

Room Tip: They have free airport shuttle

The very strange thing about this hotel is the distance. The lobby, restaurant and other amenities are separated from the blocks of the rooms. At this time of the year San Luis Potosi is around 8º C (46ºF), so you have to choice between walking more than 200 m or take your car and drive around to the entrance of the hotel.

On the other hand, because it was late at night and I had a cold, we asked for room service.. Bad food, expensive and cold¡¡¡ We left more than half the sandwiches.

The room was OK and the bathroom standard.

Next morning we went for our breakfast. NO international food, all mexican. We asked for eggs, jam and cheese, but after waiting a long time the only we could eat were the eggs. Price for two persons $ 350.00 MXP, (tip not included). around US $ 26.00

If you are young person and want to walk, probably you won´t complain too much, but if you are over 50, I would not recommend it...

Room Tip: As close to the main building as possible, and not on the second floor

Rooms were large and clean , mine was bottom floor off the pool, but no noise.Good security, a mall , out the hotel to the right and 1/2 mile up the street is good, and an OXXO is arouind the corner for snacks and drinks.
Breakfast buffet very good, and menu food was ok.
TIP: Sunday afternoon was either leftovers or food no one wanted as it just sat on the line and got hard and cold.

Good business center, nice pool, tennis courts, good securioty and hotel transportation to the airport: 25 minutes.

Room Tip: All rooks are to have wall safes but when entering check in the closet as mine was missing and I had to change rooms

This older hotel has a very nice, clean lobby which didn't lend itself to the style of hotel it is: two floor horizontal lay out with room doors to the outside. The check in was smooth. The room was large with a small fridge and LCD TV. The desk was convenient and it had free wireless which worked flawless. The king-size bed was hard but comfortable. The AC worked well. My only complaint was that it looked run down especially the bathroom with older tub and faucets that lost its luster. The bathroom could also have been cleaner I thought. It's in need of updating. I thought it was quiet and I slept well.
Breakfast at the restaurant was good with Mexican-style food at the buffet. They did make omelets to order. Check out went well. I'd probably go back next time though I might try the nearby Holiday Inn Express....
