2 hours away from travel and received a shock that our booking with a resort in Thane, refused to honour the breakfast deal as included in our package and to add-on, they later refused to honour online bookings.

After much despair and lack of last minute options, our online travel portal helped out with the prompt substitute booking; satisfying our main criteria of a swimming pool for children to enjoy (unfortunately couldn't).

And, here we were... at Royal Orchid Central Grazia.

PROS:
Fast check-in and clean compact rooms.
The open air terrace swimming pool with the mini Merlion replica spouting water was a treat to the eyes. The kids were awed, and so were we.
Hot water.. round the clock.

SUGGESTIONS/IMPROVEMENTS:
It would have been a feather in the cap, if there was a small sized children's pool. Unfortunately, it was a heartbreak for the children, as it was minimum 4 ft.

A small children's play area or indoor games could have been an added boon.

Circuit board buttons/switches, TV remote buttons need to be checked and functioning.

Bathroom fittings a tad bit loose or uneven.

No hair dryer.

A strange loud (blowing/gargling of water) sound persistently occurred, enough to break your deep sleep. Mostly audible in the night and repeatedly at 20-40 minutes interval.

Electronic door lock failed to open despite several attempts and green light display. Had to go back to reception to get it reset/activated.

A provision of a manual safety lock/door hinge on the inside.

Wash basin tap not easily reachable by children.

Safe deposit vault broken. Concerned staff department should keep a check of every item available and its safe functionality for the forthcoming customer.

A towel rod could be made available for drying below the wash basin rather than having a shelf above the commode. There have been times that the towels have fallen down. But, luckily not into/onto the commode.

Please improve the quality and quantity of the breakfast items.

I visited Hotel Orchid at Vashi last month. Hygiene and quality of service is awesome . Durung checkout my forget to take some belongings . After contacting helpline they immediately connect with one gentleman namely Pritam . He confirmed my belongings and assured me to send back it to Bangalore . Till its arrival he was updating me continuously on watsup . This type of customer service is highly appreciated in any organisation .

Thanks to overall management especially Mr Pritam who is really a Customer service support champ .

Overall a very good experience of staying here.. All the amenities, location, food, service, security and most importantly the staff.. they were very helpful throughout.. Only thing that was below expectation was the room ventilation.. even the washroom didnt have the exhaust.. so it left the room stinky

It very good service, food is nice and affordable to the value, I prefer this hotel for all my business trips. its near to my work place. even better to stay with family for a stay. Service, Cleanliness and all are very good.

My stay was from 17/02/2019 to 26/02/2019.
- On 20th and 21st I was not able to sleep due some unpleasant sound from above floor.
- And health club/gym needs maintenance and possible then be more spacious.
