“Fantastic first week on Sicily”
Reviewed 23 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Thank-you Maria and Ricardo
My wife and I and another couple stayed in the top floor unit from Sept.1 to the 8th and had a wonderful time. The proximity to many of the things we wanted to see was perfect and we didn't have to stay in Palermo (the locals don't think so but the driving in Palermo was absolutely insane). As said before the unit is very clean and the patio is awesome for dinners and sitting around drinking the very inexpensive local wine. We decided the outside shower was perfect for us and used it everyday. We did use the BBQ once and cooked dinner a couple of times but the restaurants and cafe's were very inexpensive so we ate out a lot. Day one we found a pizza place less than two blocks away and for 22E got two huge pizzas that were too big for four to eat in one sitting. In a word GREAT.

“Lovely quiet family holiday in an old house with a beautiful garden”
Reviewed 28 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

It was wonderfully organized recreation. House is ideally shops are close by, check out the track too closely. The home team extend all possible assistance in the orientation of the terrain. We were given driving directions to all the nearby attractions, beaches, markets. Otdalnoy credit goes to the garden - large, well-kept, beautiful. The kitchen and barbecue area very efficiently organized and easy to use.If necessary, the owners give advice on all matters of interest to us, has always been very friendly and accommodating. In general, the rest of the house was just wonderful. I would like to express my gratitude to Maria, who was able to organize life in an old house on a very high modern standard.

“A Chance to Live in an Authentic Sicilian House”
Reviewed 21 July 2013 for a stay in April 2013

If you have ever walked down an Italian street and wondered what the houses are like behind the gates, this is your chance to find out. The house is located on a main street in a small Sicilian town. Shops and cafes are within walking distance - the bakers is over the road. The garden is beautiful, and a welcome peaceful retreat. The house had everything we needed, and detailed instructions were left. We were greeted on arrival by the house manager. Only word of advice would be not to arrive between 6pm-7pm, the only time we found difficulty parking.
