I visited with my wife and 2 young children for 7 nights. I'd read a lot of reviews for hotels in Lara Beach before picking Lara Barut and it honestly surpassed expectations. I knew it was off season and many of the restaurants and facilities would be closed however everything was still great, even when there was a full day of rain. Starting with the food, the buffet restaurant was fantastic, the desserts brilliant and the a la Carte restaurants were top notch for when you fancy a change in scenery. I'm a big foody so this really added to the whole experience as I've previously visited Turkey and not been impressed with the same old buffet food everyday that's aimed at other nationalities.
The staff were excellent, and I would like to thank a few members of the animation team. Aykut I got to know well, and with Amigo, both great guys who made the different events like darts and air rifle shooting, lots of fun and something to look forward too. Dilber from the kids club was always smiling and happy to see and play with the kids. The team overall are a big asset to the Barut brand and I wish them all the best for the future.
I have already recommended the hotel to family and friends and would like to visit again in a larger group as I never felt the need to leave the hotel in the whole trip. They have a phone app that tells you what the daily activities are so you can go to what you feel like that day. The live piano playing in the lobby bar or different music acts they had on at night was nice and the bars had a huge drinks selection. I also made use of the brilliant daily cinema movie nights and the heated pools and steam and sauna rooms.
