I have been recommended by a friend who has been coming here since the hotel first opened.
We arrived the first week in November Temperature was 28-30 Celsius which was a bonus.

Second time here. Overall a really good stay. Weather great . A shame that the live music wasn’t on as often when the entertainment came inside. Entertainment staff very good, especially Akyut. Food and drink fantastic as usual. Spa is lovely - had the thalassotherapy followed by Turkish bath - very nice!!

Lara Barut Collection is the best hotel complex in the Lara Beach area. The rooms, facilities, pools, bars, restaurants, and, most importantly, the staff, are excellent. Have been to a few other hotels in the area, but the Lara is by far our favourite. Hotel, grounds, pool areas, and restaurants are very clean and well maintained. Food is far better than the other hotel nearby that we have stayed at. The entertainment is very good, even out of the main season (we are here right now, Nov 2024). The Animation team is brilliant, so friendly, and always coming over to chat and have a laugh. It gets a wee bit chilly at the pool bar in the evening, so bring a jacket or warm tops if visiting during the low season, although the team brought out quite a few patio heaters and even a few log burners last night, so we were all feeling quite cosy. Great entertainment at the pool bar this week. Two good bands and even a party dj so far. Wish we were here for longer, but we will be back next year for sure.

Barut hotels are our favourite. We have stayed in Anda, Arum, Hemera and Kemer so know the 5 star standard of a Barut hotel. We were looking forward to trying Lara and had read great reviews but was so disappointed we actually transferred to another hotel within 48 hours which we have never done before.
Some parts of the hotel building/grounds and rooms look tired however some areas modernised and is beautiful.
Staff generally look miserable and are not very engaging. Queues for drinks at bar. Generally one or two people serving.
There was nothing to do in the evenings for adults until 11pm when the disco at the beach bar starts. No live music to enjoy with a drink. There was a dance show everynight which is great for families and children but not for us.
On a positive, the patisserie is amazing with delicious cakes and excellent coffee. The shower in the room was also fantastic. That's about it :)

Regarding your comments on the hotel building, we would like to clarify that Lara Barut Collection was renovated in 2022, with several enhancements made throughout the property. If you could kindly provide more details on which specific areas you found to be tired, we would be happy to forward this information to the management for further review.
As for the animation program, we strive to cater to all our guests by offering a variety of entertainment options. The weekly program is available on the board opposite the patisserie, and I would like to inform you that, as is common across many hotels in the Antalya region, some shows are sourced from external companies. The entertainers, many of whom are multinational, return to their home countries during this time to renew their visas. While I understand that you did not find the shows suitable for your preferences, please know that we aim to offer entertainment that will appeal to all of our guests. Given the size of the hotel, we attempt to strike a balance to meet the diverse interests of our visitors.
We also understand your concerns regarding the beverage service, particularly during busy periods. Please know that this is not the standard we aim for, and we are committed to ensuring that our guests receive the high quality service that Barut Hotels are known for.
