It's not the JW Marriott, Venetian, or W Hotel .. but for this region this is likely the best overall accommodations (all inclusive). The room/balcony are great! Be sure to get a room numbered 09 - 13 for direct sea view. For Mountain and Sea view, go for 20,21,22. There are approx 12 levels/floors here at the hotel. Inside the resort you have everything you need, pools, fitness, shops, tennis courts, theater, convention center. The staff is not so helpful, most requests came back as denied or, call us later in the day. The dry cleaning crew lost one of my shirts. Cab ride to the city/sites is about 40 minutes, @ $30 USD. Guests are mostly German (60%) with Russian (20%) and others. Very few folks from the US. They put on a great new years celebration - all included! In the US it would have been $200 per person. Food options are good - baked fish, grilled fish, lots of lamb, veal, chicken. Excellent salad bar. Soups, french fries, bread are all very good. Specialized restaurants are available via reservation only .. we found the quality only marginally better than the buffet. Wine/beer: Think 3 buck chuck and Hamm's .. ! Beer and wine snobs will not be happy .. but then again, this is a different county - just relax, and enjoy the view of the sea from your balcony.
