Worst Experience

Due to the renovation work of hotel lobby and rooms, pool areas are so noisy. Hotel staffs are not kind. Servers were not bring food beverage and/or food in time. I could not order room-service since no one picked up my calls during operation hours. The trip was worst experience in my travel.

The resort was a great getaway. However, the transportation from airport to resort was less than desirable. The transportation grouped two groups together, which was 5 people. We (my group still had to pay $280.00, instead one way divided by 5. It was a more efficient way of traveling to the resort. I feel we were scammed with the travel to the resort.

Heid Ziva is an extraordinary Resort with World class customer service. It is undergoing some construction right now to continue to improve, but the overall experience is quite extraordinary. My wife and I went last year and went again this year. I have all already made reservations to go again in 2025. This is a truly extraordinary resort with what I consider some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. I give it my highest recommendations.

The hotel might be under construction but we barely noticed. The lobby construction is starting to look really nice. The noise did not bother us at all. We stayed in main tower as Club and on 7th floor and never even heard any noise. We were at Adult pool and infinity pool and it was great. We even went to the spa and the noise did not bother us. The food has improved 100% since last year when we were there. Catalina our concierge checked in with us everyday and made sure we had what we needed. We stayed in a 1 bedroom OV room and it was really nice and came with a special treat every day. The halloween and Day of dead celebrations were really good and entertaining. Already booked for next year again!! FYI.. the tortilla making class was super fun!!

Don't let the construction keep you away! The noise was not intrusive, and with fewer people at the resort, we never had to stand in line for meals and there were plenty of chaise lounges at the pools to choose from. Rooms are nice, some might need some updating, but very clean with very good amenities. We got housekeeping every day and turn down on the first night. Loved it!

The construction noise was not nearly as bad as we had expected. We could not hear it with our patio door closed. The activity lady at the pool was actually way more annoying than the construction noise. The food and beverage service were great, and the hotel did not have many guests.
