Hyatt Ziva is such an enjoyable place to stay...even under current construction we had great service and care while there. The food is good, rooms are great, BUT the thing that makes it THE BEST are the people who work there!!! To name a few: In the pool area, our servers Yesenia, Genaro, and Edgar were exceptional, kind, efficient and had good energy and took the time to talk with us each day! The activities folks, Paula, Miquel, and Roberto all remembered us from last year...by name...and worked hard to create fun activities each day! They had good energy and were full of joy and enthusiasm each day! Erick in the Spa was an exceptional Hydro Therapy guide. He made our day with a fabulous experience; BEST Spa experience I have ever had. I came home and looked up Hydro Therapy Spas and could not find a facility that even compares to the facility at Hyatt Ziva and Erick, guiding us through the experience made it an experience that will not be matched. The coffee shop is so great to have on campus. Esmeralda, Roberto and Felipe made it a joy to get coffee, ice cream, as well as ice cream drenched in a shot of coffee. Jesus at the lobby desk was helpful and had such great positive energy....he is truly an asset to the company! Also, we had an AC issue in our room and Emilio worked diligently and kindly with us to help work through solutions. He was accommodating, understanding and gave us multiple options to solve the issue. THANK YOU Emilio. Alberto in the lobby remembered us from last year...he was so joyful and kind last year and was excited to see us again this year...what a great example of service!! Cynthia in the fitness center was excellent and provided a Yoga class designed for success for all. Her calm, gentle spirit was appreciated. In the buffet, the hostess, Margarita, has been there ALL 7 years we have been there! She is such a kind, loving, caring person. We think of her and talk about her even when we are home. We even miss her beautiful energy and spirit! She is a beautiful person and ALWAYS offers great service. Mario was our server in the buffet most mornings. He was kind, helpful, accommodating and bent over backwards to make sure everything was as we desired! It is these people and the service they provide in such a kind caring manner that make us want to go back each year. We often find ourselves saying "we need to learn how to care for and serve others with the kindness and care that we are given at the Hyatt Ziva."
