Our stay at the Hyatt Ziva was for only 4 night. We arrived on a Tuesday with our room not being ready at check in time. Celebrating our Anniversary. I wish the people who did the check in that afternoon would have been more informative as to where to find the restaurants and other amenities that hotel had to offer. Upon arrival to our room : our door had a sign wishing us a Happy Birthday. The hotel is huge but half of it was closed off due to construction. Something I wished I had known prior to booking my family’s stay. Overall the service provided by all the greeters like Francisco, some of the staff at the main pool, the lady making the delicious tacos by the adult pools, Carlos at the Dozzo restaurant, Mike from entertainment team and the servers at Molino in the AM- Bryan, Grace, Ricardo Alfredo, and Jessica made our entire experience worth all. Folks at Molino AM hands down on the breakfast and lunch. Their friendliness and excellent customer service made the construction noise be a minor problem during our stay. The Hotel is very accommodating to customers who have food allergens that as a result some of our meals were gluten free or unsalted butter- not by choice. The sunset dinner on the beach was nice but I felt it could have been better. All but juice bar drinks were nasty- all mixed drinks were watered down - sad because Mexico has best sodas. No beer selection you had Tecate and Dos X. Food portions are really small and seem to mind when asked for more ( Cafe and room service). De la Cruz lady that cleaned our room was great.
