Fantastic, Beautiful and will be back!

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff! My husband and I went for our honeymoon! It was beautiful! The food was fabulous! We loved the Sushi/Hibachi restaurant! We also liked the Oven Brick Pizzas! Our room was excellent, we had a swim up room. It was always clean! We also enjoyed walking the beach and sitting in the infinity pool with the swim up bar! We also loved the spending time in the adult pool with the chairs in the water. The service as this pool was great as well with a bar!

First rate! Everything about this resort is top-notch, beginning with the staff. The restaurants are great and the hotel amenities are also very good. The only negative of our trip was that you are not supposed to swim in the ocean adjacent to the hotel, there are black flags warning you to stay out of the water. I swam in the ocean anyway and had a blast and never felt that I was in any danger. I hope to come visit again.

The Hyatt Ziva exceeded our expectations- from the check in to the check out, we were treated well. The people are all friendly and greet you with their hand over their heart when they say Hola. Not one staff person walked past us without greeting us. The grounds and landscaping and views are amazing. The resort is spotless! We had a club level suite and it was fantastic. We were welcomed with flowers, a bottle of champagne and a fruit and nut tray on arrival to our room. The room is stocked with a mini bar and toiletries and refreshed daily- including plenty of bottle water. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of closet and drawer space and a wonderful main bath plus a half bath. Despite other comments, our room was always cleaned by afternoon when we returned. There is a laptop size safe in one of the closets.
The Club on the fourth floor is available to club level rooms and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast every morning with stellar views and excellent service. Sergio attended to us every morning and we miss him now that we are home- have to get our own coffee! Sergio went out of his way to be sure we had everything we needed. In the afternoon we enjoyed a cocktail or glass of wine and there was a wonderful array of appetizers every afternoon/evening. We received the same warm service in the evening from Gerardo. It was Gerardo's goal to be sure we enjoyed our glass of wine and cocktail and were comfortable doing so. Both these men are to be commended on their kindness and treating us like we were family. We ate at the French restaurant, Zaffirio the Italian, LaHacienda Steak House, Dozo for Asian and the Spanish restaurant. All of the restaurants were great. La Hacienda has a wonderful salad bar that is included in your meal. We also tried the coffee shop for coffees and they have a wonderful chicken ceaesar wrap at lunch and tasty treats throughout the day. The 24 hour deli- Cactus has sandwiches and wonderful burritos, along with salad, veggies, fruit and cookies and plenty of drink choices. Coco Loco is by the main pool and offers burritos and burgers for lunch. There is a cart by the main pool with tacos and homemade guacamole starting at 11:00 daily. They also have popsicles for the kids. The piano bar is a great spot for an evening cocktail as is the sports bar. Lots of great spots to sit and enjoy the moment and a glass of wine throughout the resort. We went to three of the evening shows and they were all really good. The dancers are very talented and the costumes were beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves and of course, there is a bar in the theatre too. There are spots for wine and tequila tasting, marguerite making lessons and lots of activities going on if you like, or you can just chill and relax. We really enjoyed the adult pool- lots of chairs and places to sit and read and relax and a nice bar with wait service. This bar also serves lunch. We did not experience any of the no place to sit because people reserved their seats issue. At the adult pool, every morning every lounger had a rolled beach towel, so you simply just selected your seat when you came to the pool. There are also loungers and chairs right in the pool- very fun. The beach is long and was wonderful for daily beach walks. If you want to swim in the ocean this is not the place to be. The currents are strong and swimming is not suggested. Lovely for walking, very clean and very firm sand at low tide.
We loved the Hyatt Ziva and plan to return again next year. Gracias to this warm and caring staff!

We came in today. All prepaid Southwest vacation.
Tried to check in. Osvaldo at front desk checked and checked. Could not check me in. Reason. You don't have reservation.
Checked with reservation depth. 20 mnts passes. Can't check in. Sergio has another explanation. Southwest did not send reservation.
Another 20 mnts go by. Now manager Juan comes in. Another explanation. Our complete reservation system broke down.

Finally after 1 1/2 hours got the room. It was interesting to have three different explanations.

Is it a Hyatt way?

I have never had such experience checking in to a hotel.

It is not all Americana here.

We had the best trip here at the Hyatt Ziva! Our service was top notch. One bartender stood out from the rest and made our trip so much fun at bar Azul. Jesus Hernandez was so fun and friendly! We couldn't wait for hom to start his shift to start our fun!
Food was very good and cocktails were yummy! We will be back! Gracias Jesus!

We have just returned from our first trip to Los Cabos. I must say that I was blown away. We are long time Hyatt property fans and travel to Hawaii 1-2 times per year staying at the Grand Hyatt Kauai and Andaz in Maui. I had lower expectations since I am not normally a fan of all inclusive properties. Boy was I wrong, the food was much better than expected and the varieties were plenty. The Service is what sets this property apart. Impeccable is all I can say. I traveled with my wife and 14 year old son and we were treated like royalty in "The Club" by Sergio every morning. The staff throughout the property were very pleasant and accommodating as well. We had an oceanview room which was spacious and constantly stocked with beverages. The view was really fantastic. We Will be back

Room tip: Ocean view or front. Pay for "The Club", its worth every penny
