My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos. I was extremely impressed with how well prepared the hotel is to deal with the ongoing pandemic. The protocols this hotel has in place to keep everyone healthy is top notch. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Everyone at this resort is helpful and friendly. Norberto is exceptional, he was very kind, always willing to listen and help us out whenever we needed anything. Caesar at the preferred pool was always ready with towels in hand to find us a nice spot for us to relax in by the pool. Esthephane and Juan also provided wonder pool side service. The entertainment crew keeps you having fun, Brian (a sweetheart, friendly, helpful), Gustavo (very funny), Dave (very knowledgeable about Cabos and a great storyteller), and Lucas (tons of fun) will keep you entertained with bike rides, beach walks and mini golf among many other activities. The nightly shows were all outdoors and quite entertaining. We were able to do Hibachi, which is definitely worth the wait, Charly did an amazing job, and the food was delicious. Martin at El Patio also provided exceptional service. Eloy (papsito), Fernando, America, Karen at Market Café, I could probably go on and on. Really there wasn’t anyone who didn’t make us feel at home. Really there wasn’t anyone who didn’t make us feel at home. My husband booked us a couple’s massage and hydrotherapy and everyone at the spa was so professional and accommodating. It was our anniversary and afterwards they surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries and mimosa’s. Our turn down service by Yemie was also very sweet for our anniversary, she even drew a bubble bath for us. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the private/romantic dinners. My husband had scheduled a private dinner for us, and the location was at the Italian restaurant, he had wanted an outdoors romantic dinner but we were told this location would be better, I really dont see how. The room was very very small and with glass panels on both sides it wasn’t very private. We were able to hear and see the people in the larger private area adjoining ours and a couple of the workers had to come into our room to grab some wine bottles. Again, not romantic, not private. However, the saving grace was the food, which was really good and our waiter Iver, a true sweetheart. Lastly, if you plan on doing excursions, definitely check out Guillermo with Amstar, he will not steer you wrong. From beginning to end we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and every staff member there and we would definitely return.More
