The Cape Hotel to start was outstanding. It met all of our expectations. The secluded beach front was great. Nelson, Lenny, and Jose at the pool offered phenomenal service. We will be back, Art! 46

Our stay at the Cape was for a work trip but we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. The Cape seems like a shiek boutique resort mainly for couples or fun singles. The hotel is modern but comfortable and the hotel is very upscale. The rooms are nice and have tons of little details which give a unique feel. Every room has and ocean view and a swinging chair on the balcony.
The service at the Cape is the real gem. Every server, staff and person working for the hotel was super friendly and professional. Lenin, our pool server went above and beyond and provided us with stellar service. Watching the surfers every morning was fun but the beach is not quite swimmable. It's short drive into town makes the going to town more affordable than some of the further hotels and you can see Costco from the back of the hotel. The hotel is not kid friendly, no kids clubs and even the balconies and walking areas seem dangerous for young kids. Regardless, it still gets 5 stars because it doesn't advertise as a family resort and the service was excellent.
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and were incredibly impressed. Our trip started with the most quality of service from the airport to the hotel where we were picked up by hotel staff. Upon arrival, check in was efficient and our room was ready even though we arrived early. The food was exquisite, service impeccable and rooms were incredibly comfortable. All the rooms come with a rain shower and beautiful stand alone tub. The rooms all have an ocean view and beautiful deck.
What really made our trip here incredible was the service we received in our pool cabana and by the pool. Our server by the pool, Lenin, was incredible as he was extremely attentive and friendly. We appreciated his conversation and service so much. We would highly recommend this resort and definitely will be back when we return to Cabo.
This was our first time at The Cape, 5th time in Cabo. We booked the Panoramic Suite #201 which I highly recommend. There are only 5 of these suites and they are well worth the price.
What makes the hotel great is the staff. So many people who deserve to be recognized. Jorge (Pool Manager) runs a great staff and is an excellent leader. So impressed with his attention to detail. Jonas (Pool Conceirge) is amazing. Always attentive to our needs. He deserves a promotion! Our servers at the pool were Ivan, Alex, Nelson and Lenny. Just truly awesome people. Super friendly and professional. They work really well as a team to make you feel like the most important person at the resort.
If you love coffee stop in the Glassbox to see Julio. Simply the best barista on the planet. Our bellman was Alonso and he took great care of us from check-in to check-out. Such a great ambassador for the resort.
Here are the CONS: Too many SMOKERS and restaurants/bars closed for private corporate groups. The rooms are smoke-free but you can smoke EVERYWHERE else and they do. We dealt smokers at dinner, at the pool, at the bars, etc. Disgusting. Please make this beautiful hotel smoke free!
Closing the Rooftop Bar and the Glassbox to corporate parties was terrible. It's a small resort with one night spot (Rooftop) and one true coffee spot (Glassbox) and both were closed at least once during our stay. This is the reason we won't stay here again. Completely unfair to all the other guests who pay a lot of money to stay here. Find another solution for the corp parties but DO NOT close your venues to guests.
