We took two people on this sail tour this week. We had done it two years ago. We booked this time through trip advisor, last time through Aviator. We like this venue because it is limited to a small group so there is plenty of room on the sailboat. We had a group of fourteen. The sail time is great and you may see some dolphins or other sea life. You go by the well known arch soon after departure. Snorkeling time is limited and it is a popular snorkeling destination so it does get crowded in the small bay of Santa Maria. There were only two paddle boards but not very many people were interested in the paddle boards, most preferred to snorkel. The appetizers and lunch were adequate. What people did not eat they threw to the fish that scurried to the top to get it. All in all it is a good four hour excursion in a small venue. There were three crew members including the captain, guide and photographers. They are helped with the serving of food and drinks. Drinks were plentiful.

Chris (the guide) along with the Captain were great. Being a boat lover calling the boat Luxury was a bit of a stretch but still fun all the least. You only get about 15-20 mins of snorkeling (which should have been longer) and not sold on the soap and water method of cleaning the snorkel gear but my daughters had a good time & that's what it was about.

We were excited for our Luxury Sail and selected Cabo Adventures based on their description. They offered a lot and most of it was great. The boat, food, drinks and overall tour of the coastline were all as described. They missed their mark with the snorkeling and stand up paddle (SUP). The snorkeling part of the tour was outside a roped off beach, which was under construction, in water about 30 feet deep. We were not allowed to go onto the beach or near the rocks. The only fish we saw were the ones coming to the top of the water as our guide was throwing them day old bread. As far as the SUP they only had 2 paddle boards for 16 people. I realized this was going to be a challenge just by the numbers but then they announced that we could not use the boards as it was too windy. I'm not familiar with weather trends in Cabo and maybe the weather did not cooperate but I was surprised that they didn't have an alternate cove or beach where we could have had a better snorkeling and SUP experience. If you don't mind just sitting on the boat, enjoying the views with a nice lunch and drinks then this is the trip for you.

I have been on large and small boat sunset cruises and this sail boat excursion has been the best. It is adults only and has room for ~18 people. The setting speaks for itself. Very pleasant staff and the light meal is just enough and very good.
