We had bundle package through travelocity, flight fine, shuttle fine, hotel not- we show up the Pueblo Bonito Rose and they tell us our reservation was canceled and tried to blame on our travel company, but it was ALL their fault they had overbooked. When I asked if we could just be transferred to another resort in the Pueblo Bonito family(two other resorts)they just said no they were booked too without even looking in their system or making any calls. After spending almost two hours on the phone with travelocity they moved us to a 5star resort upgrade at no cost.

As you can see from the most recent reviews about this place, they overbook a lot of people last week (including me). I spent the first night in another hotel (I will write another review about it) then returned to this one. I will list the main reasons why I will never book anything related to this hotel or consortium:
1) Careless Check-in procedures.
2) It seemed under-staffed.
3) All rooms have partial view.
4) Smells like an old room.
5) It also looks like an old room. Something built in the 90's is not supposed to look like from the 80's.
6) All-Inclusive is a BIG lie (ASK what's not included because they will charge you for everything that's not included, strategically listed in very fine print of a piece of paper they give you)
7) If you pick up the phone for room service be ready to be charged US$5 each time, whether you request a bottle of water or a cow).
8) Food was less than average. A lot of variety in their breakfast buffet but nothing tastes good.
9) Their target is probably first time travelers who don't have anything to compare this mess with.
10) Age average was higher than what I am used to. I would guess 65+
11) No minibar of course, they want you to ask them for everything to charge you US$5 each time...

Room tip: Pick another hotel or you will regret it...

Arrived on a Thursday to check in ...first we were told there was a problem with the computer system - after some lame excuses we were told they overbooked the hotel and they would have to move us to another hotel....WHAT??? The lobby was full of many customers upset that had to be moved. The hotel staff was not helpful & even argumentative. After wasting over on hour of our time they moved us to another hotel for 1 night.
The review of the hotel itself = the rooms are old, beds not comfortable, only 1 bar on the property, have to pay extra for certain restaurants (even with the all inclusive package).
Location is great, but would never stay there again.

Arlin rod silvia Luis and fer are very helpful and friendly they keep me busy and fun everyday and miss them on they day off. arki, gerardo and Israel best pool waiters . Always there
when you need them and remember your name, room number and what you are drinking All around great outside pool staff

Had reservations for over a year for 2 room, was told both of our rooms we had reserved were not available, but they would give us a $200 credit per room to stay in a smaller room. The same thing happened to two other couples that checked in two days after us...this is normal for this hotel. The rooms are dirty, very very small kitchen, water in shower is hot then cold then hot then cold. Mirrors don't get wiped down, floors don't get overly swept, electricity doesn't work in some of the outlets. The grounds looked nice. Several people soliciting you right out side on the beach, all day long, even if you are sleeping. The second you check-in in order to get your beach towels they hold your cards and try to get you to committ to a timeshare presentation the next day.

Room tip: Doesn't matter they will lie and you don't get what you want
