We stayed in the area on our way around the Cabot Trail, so we had dinner here one evening. I got the lobster dinner and my wife got a burger. Although it was decent, they could definitely step up their game with flavors and freshness and make it outstanding.

Had a wonderful time on the Cabot Trail, and had a lovely lobster dinner at the Midtrail restaurant.

We had two delicious dinners for under 60 bucks Canadian, but I thought we might faint from starvation before our meal ever arrived. our seafood, lobster and scallops were worth the wait, but our server was indifferent at best. If you eat here, the food will be good and priced right. The service will drive you mad.

We went here for dinner and had scallops and cake. They were dry and chewy. The worse part was the waitress. She definitely did not want to be there. It took a long time to order our meal and even longer to get the bill even though the restaurant was hardly busy. I don't think we smiled once the whole time we were there.
The price is more reasonable than other places on Pleasant Bay. I guess you get what you pay for.

We were here for breakfast and the food was decent (although hard to mess up breakfast) and affordably priced. The service on the other hand was average at best.
