We enjoyed a meal on a warm sunny evening in early August and had a wonderful view from the outdoor patio. The food was tasty. The service a bit slow and our server was a bit odd. We would definitely come back again. I had crab that was very tasty!

The server who "helped" us order take out was extremely unfriendly. She did not even thank us in the end. I would be embarrassed as a Canadian if she treated all others like that.

This was not our first time visiting and won't be our last. We have tried other places in Pleasant Bay and around the trail, but this place is definitely the best we've found over the years.
Always a good sign when there is a wait for a table-- but we didn't wait long considering the amount of people that were coming and going! The servers were pleasant, but seemed a little flustered. Prices are okay.
My pan-fried haddock was fresh, fries were tasty. My husband's bacon cheeseburger was good. Again, it was worth the stop and we will keep with tradition and stop again next year.

I wouldn’t suggest stopping here. The food is good but in my opinion it is too expensive for me to recommend it. Tourist prices in effect :-) They are extremely busy with drive by traffic so they get the business no matter the price.
The staff was pleasant and service good (wasn’t busy for our visit)
Examples of pricing
Lobster roll $25.
1 pc fish and chips $15
Cheeseburger and small salad $20

We waited almost almost 30 minutes (on a Sunday) for a server to take our order for a late lunch. We ordered two appetizers that were very small and not worth the money. Our server was pleasant and nice, but that's tall that we can say that was good about this spot.
