On February 3rd there was the winter art walk at Fabrica Aurora. For the first time, five of us decided to try El Grandpa and Sons Burgers. There was something for everyone there, even if you weren't that hungry. The mini sliders would satisfy diners who just wanted a few bites of something tasty. Their Tortilla soup was also quite good . Service was somewhat slow that night and I had to ask three times for a glass of water, vital for anyone eating the spicy Tortilla soup. The waitress apologized to me but it was too little too late. I would still return for a light bite on a quieter night. Everyone else in our group was happy.

I’ve eaten here twice while visiting the art galleries in Fabrica la Aurora, and had great meals both times. The little sliders allow you to sample the different types of burgers on offer, with several different flavorful toppings. The fries are good...but I prefer them crispier. The onion rings are deep fried in tempura batter, just delicious but a little oily. The iced tea is fresh-brewed and delicious. All in all, recommended for satisfying those burger cravings that can hit mid-way through one’s vacation!

Outstanding sliders! They are the perfect size and great combinations. The duck, pulled pork, 4 cheese, and bacon and cheese were particular favourites. The fries and onion rings are also fantastic as are the milkshakes. Definitely worth a visit and a great way to cap off a visit to La Fabrica Aurora.

No better way to combat the fatigue of Stendhal’s syndrome of too much art (as if), than to stop into this burger place and chill with a cerveza and slider. The combinations say Mexico, but the burgers do not betray their more northern roots. The best mocha milkshake. Relaxing, edgy design and servers who are hip and friendly. Worth a special trip.

We went here at the recommendation of my Uncle who has retired to the town. We were not disappointed although my son with a Pico burger was relived when the hot dog was too big for his little sister. The pico burger is about a mouthful.
The normal sized burgers were cooked to perfection, good quality and value for money. Excellent service from the staff too.
The location is in an old factory now with lots of art places. So a great place to take a stroll and look round whilst you digest your lovely burger.
