We've been here for two months and have two more to go. If you love French bread then THIS is where you have to go. We've tried La Comer bakery and there's no comparison. Albeit, La Comer is less expensive but the bakery is not overcharging for their product. I don't know if he/she is a French person but they make things almost as good as they do in France. There's always a variety to choose from in the bread category but there are also pastries, tarts, rolls, etc.
There's an inordinate amount of flies, bees and wasps hanging around the counters so I'd be careful if you're allergic to getting a sting. I don't know why they seem to be so prevalent and why the management doesn't do something to get rid of them but it's Mexico and you should expect that.
Adjacent to where you buy the bread is an eating area. So you can select what you want to eat with your coffee and eat it there as well as take something home with you.
The store is located not far from the Parroquia and a good corner location--easy to find. We buy several baguettes and freeze them. They come out just like fresh. Bon appetit!
