All the staff at Casa Schuck really go out of their way to make sure you are always well looked after and that everything is to your liking. Everyone always seemed to know my name and made me feel even better than at home!

Room Tip: Love the rooms on the top floor with the view of San Miguel!

Me and my family attended a recent reception and wedding ceremony at Casa Schuck this past February 2012. The owners (Susan and Chuck) were not only gracious hosts but their every detail for the wedding was incredible! They ensured all the vendors/wedding helpers were in sync with one another to make the venue come alive. Lastely, the setting at Casa Schuck is absolutely beautiful -- perfect wedding spot!

We just returned from a week long stay at Casa Schuck. We selected it largely based on the 300+ trip advisor reviews. If you're going to San Miguel - stay at Casa Schuck. If you don't know anything about San Miguel, book a room at Casa Schuck and enjoy a wonderful experience. The staff makes you feel at home, the rooms are very, the public spaces are beatiful and memories of the marguritas at sunset on the roff top patio linger. We'll be back.

I stayed at Casa Schuck for five nights for a friend's wedding. She held the rehearsal dinner as well as the reception at Casa Schuck as well. It was one of the best weddings I had ever experienced (beautiful church ceremony, Mexican procession and even fireworks). San Miguel has lots of charm and character. I would highly recommend San Miguel and Casa Schuck for anyone who is contemplating a destination wedding. I'm a big fan of destination weddings as I had mine in the South Pacific and have attended other destination weddings as well.

The owners of Casa Schuck are really incredible and generous hosts. I very much enjoyed their company! They also had great recommendations for activities, restaurants and everything else in San Miguel. The staff was wonderful; they are courteous, sweet and always available. From Casa Schuck, it is an easy walk to the town center, churches, shops and galleries. I would definitely go back and visit again. It's easy to get to San Miguel from LA; a 3-hour flight to Leon, and then a car ride of about 1 hr. 15 min. For folks who are concerned about safety in San Miguel, I must say that I felt safe at all times. Many of us went out late and felt safe walking back from bars and night clubs.

I recently made my way to San Miguel de Allende for the destination wedding of a close friend. San Miguel is a picturesque colonial town in Central Mexico, with amazing architecture, friendly people, and much to explore and enjoy.

Many of those in wedding party, including myself, stayed at Casa Schuck, and many of the wedding festivities, including the rehearsal dinner and the reception took place at there.

Susan and Chuck, Casa Schuck’s owners, and their staff went out of their way to make sure the wedding was perfect and all of the guests had a wonderful time. When the airline lost my luggage, the friendly staff at Casa Schuck volunteered to call the airline, track down my luggage, nudge the airline to send it to me asap, and report back to me. And that’s exactly what the staff did. I only wish the airline had been so attentive in the first place. Likewise, Susan and Chuck let all the guests know the best spots in the town see and answered any questions concerning things to do and places to go. Indeed, Susan even gave me a lesson on local politics and efforts to keep the town true to its colonial roots.

Each room at Casa Schuck is uniquely and beautifully decorated with local craft work. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Most, if not all, open on to a central courtyard that is elegantly landscaped, and all have access to various roof decks that offer stunning views of the town and wonderful place to relax with a drink, catch some sun, and do a little reading.

It was a fantastic place to stay and run by really nice people.

Room Tip: The Library Room looked pretty cool.
