It was hot, we were tired, the restaurant we wanted to
Try was closed on Wednesday so we stopped in to the bibliotheca
For a light lunch. The fajitas were wonderful but the limeade was to die for!

We ate here twice this month, breakfast and lunch. I had a soup and my wife had the tacos. Both were very good. The food is good and it is great value. We have also stopped for a cappuccino and adds seri. They were very good as well. We tend to go for breakfast specials before the house tour on Sunday.

We had a great lunch at Cafe Santa Ana. We had the burrito which came with a nice side salad. For dessert we had Chipolte brownie with ice cream and blackberry cheesecake. It was one of the best meals we have had in our first week in SMA. Nice atmosphere and clean bathrooms!!

Co-located with the Municipal Library, Cafe Santa Ana caters to the ex-pats. English is heard everywhere and wifi is reliable. The menu is varied and each item is delicious. Service is great and there are often busker musicians to entertain. One of the best cappuccinos in town, certainly the best hamburger, weekly specials and excellent prices.

Cafe Santa Ana is situated inside the Biblioteca Insurgentes and is wonderfully comfortable, affordable, quaint with excellent service & food. We especially enjoyed the beautifully prepared french toast, basil potatoes, machaca with generous strands of dried beef and huevos rancheros. The wait staff is friendly, helpful and as a bonus opened part of the library with the mural depicting the proud heritage of Mexico. DO NOT/DO NOT MISS THE MURAL.
