If you want a change from Mexican cuisine and enjoy real French crepes, this is the place for your. It is mostly for lunch and perhaps an early dinner . The chef is French and prepares real French crepes filled with a great variety of things: fruit, eggs, cheese, ham and more. It is a small place so arrive when they open for the day, around 1 p.m.

When we read about La Crepe Du Chef we knew we had to try it. We spend a lot of time in France and we love crepes. This small restraurant is run by the cutest couple. Everything is made fresh and lovingly served by the owners. The crepes are great. I love the sugar dessert crepe. If you arrive early you might be able to have one of their coffee drinks which are great. This is a very small place with just a few tables....don't despair it IS worth the wait.

Inside this small, charming restaurant you will find real Brittany-style crepes. Owners are delightful and very helpful. The savory crepes are made with buckwheat and because buckwheat is not a grain, it's a perfect meal for people wishing to avoid gluten. All of the savory crepes can be prepared without meat. Delicious!

We had lunch at La Crepe du Chef for the first time last week and what a treat that was! The place is small and intimate and both owners...husband and wife...welcome you warmly. We both had the same galette for lunch (cheese, ham and mushrooms) followed by the same crepe for dessert (banana, chocolate and heated rum). Both were delicious and freshly made...certainly look forward to trying more in the future. On the weekends after 2 pm, you can pick up freshly backed bread. We bought two ficelles last weekend and they were wonderful with a light crust and warm filling. Had difficulties getting them both home without breaking off a piece! We'll be back.

WENT FOR LUNCH - with some friends and it was a pearl of a find. It is just such a spotlessly clean restaurant. The owner couple, Carolina and her husband speak French, Spanish and English. They have a great variety of choices in crepes, and it was just so delicious. I skipped lunch and went straight to the dessert , caramelized apples and a soup of vanilla ice cream in a beautiful thin crepe. My friend had ratatouille crepe. The chocolatine croissant was delicious and so were the tiny quiches. All exceptional. You will not be sorry.
