Elenor Valerie and the girls are so helpful it's like one big family they just went above and beyond for us can't praise them enough.... a group of lovely girls !! The GILTRAPS BREAKFAST BAP is amazing deffo one of the perks of the trip!! So many photo opportunities around the grounds! A big group of us stayed for a weekend recently in Giltraps Guesthouse and Glamping in the lovely village of Kinnitty, Co Offaly. We had a great time. Eleanor and all her colleagues in Giltraps were really helpful and welcoming, as were the locals in Kinnitty. The accommodation itself was very comfortable, warm, cosy and clean. Giltraps also own a lovely pub across the road from the accommodation. We really enjoyed drinks and music in the pub, and there was no need to get a taxi at the end of the night! The food was lovely too, we’d breakfast both mornings in the Guesthouse and they organised a BBQ in the pub on the Saturday evening. The whole weekend was great fun. On the Saturday afternoon we did clay pigeon shooting on the grounds of Kinnitty Castle. Again, really enjoyable. With Birr Castle, Lough Boora and Clonmacnoise all close by I highly recommend staying at Giltraps and visiting Offaly!

Couldn't have enjoyed our glamping experience more at Giltraps. The cabin was so lovely and comfortable and the staff and everyone we met in the pub, cafe and townhouse were so helpful, they went out of their way to make our girls weekend one to remember! Absolutely faultless, will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our glamping trip, stayed with a few friends in the yurt and cabin. Could not fault the place one bit!! BBQ was put on for us, food was fab and plenty!! Rented bikes and went to the castle, the 3km downhill after was the highlight!! Breakfast delivered in the morning topped off a fantastic night away. Highly recommend and will definitely return! Thanks Giltraps!!
