Had an amazing holiday at Alsisar...the staff was very friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the jeep safari and the pool. The food was awesome. A perfect family holiday. Highly recommended for people looking for a peaceful weekend getaway.

This was a beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. The building itself was lovely and rambling with glorious views from the roof. The bedroom was quirky and idiosyncratic with lovely furnishings. The hot water was hit and miss.
There was a very lovely dining room and the food was fresh and tasty with plenty of vegetarian options. Service was immaculate and the staff were very helpful. We only stayed one night but I wished it was more.
This is the sort of hotel that makes India such a challenge and pleasure.
On our last visit to the Shekhawati region 25 years ago we stayed at the Castle Mandawa, which needed its recent restoration.
The Alsisar place was divine, rambling, exciting, exotic, quirky; superb dining room and lovely staff; fine swimming pool; essential to find a way to the roof for its spectacular views. Bedroom unbelievably vast if not the last word in luxury (plumbing interesting)
