we went to alsisar mahal on an impromptu road trip as google maps showed it as not too far away....which is actually the only problem with the place... getting there was a bit of a trying exercise as the shortest route to the place isnt motorable...But once you get there ,what awaits youis a gorgeous haveli and fabulous staff...the best of rajasthani hospitality with stunning rooms all set to make you experience royalty first hand.

Room Tip: 226,227....best rooms!

The hotel is an old haveli - the building is beautiful. A wonderful atmosphere is created when dining at night in the central courtyard. The staff were helpful. However, while the rooms were huge, there were a few drawbacks eg flimsy curtains that didn't meet in the middle of the window, steps to negotiate to the bathroom, creaking doors and a loud, old wall air conditioner. The basics of the hotel are good but it is let down by the smaller things. The hotel seems to just miss out from being a good hotel. The little things that are wrong limit it to being an average hotel. Its other drawback is that there isn't much to see at Alsisar so guests wouldn't be inclined to go there for an extended visit.

These are the same comments i shared with the folks at Alsisar. A great way of feeling like royalty without actually being one. A beautiful haveli, great sized rooms. My mom's room felt like a suite in itself...probably 600 sqfeet or more.
Awesome personalized service. Our day trip to mandawa and nawal garh were fun, Dont take the singhana route instead come to this place via SuragGarh or Loharu. A comfortable trip takes about 6 hrs, so do not fret, it is worth the wait.
The Dinner is great, service especialyl the nuances can do some more improvement.
All in All a great trip. I will suggest they advertise more... its a really nice place.

Room Tip: If you are a family with children choose Sajjan Mahal.

Alsisar is a great VFM holiday in the Shekhavati Region. The palace has been renovated with love, care and style. The minute one enters, the service begins. There is a great ambience and the period haveli has been furnished beautifully. The reception rooms have been tastefully decorated with inlaid work and mirrors. The owner has a poenchant for this ancient craft and has preservedthe heritage in every way Even standard rooms are large enough for a family. The suites are huge and live up to the its reputation. We loved the bar which is quite unique and the dining room is cool. There is a spa as well as a swimming pool. The enclosed courtyards give enough privacy. It is a great getaway for the quiet life. The town is very quiet like other towns in the Shekhavati region so don't expect anything much to do in terms of night life.

The service is very personalised, the guides highly knowledgable. I would recommend taking the hotel guide to tour the Jhujhunwala Haveli which is being restored. It is a gem. The town of Alsisar is a heritage property. it is clean and has many attractions to offer. The hotel staff gave us a the right route to Delhi when we drove back and this saved us 2 hours besides being very scenic. Please do take their advice. The food very good and served in style. We were the only guests when we arrived and the fixed menu was well chosen. he staff will also arrange dinner in one of the courtyard or around the pool. I loved the blue decor of the dining room. Bathrooms are wonderfullly clean and huge. I loved the shower alcove and the soothing decor.

Room Tip: The rooms over the pool have a great view.

I traveled with spouse and an infant, the hotel is good for an overnight stay but there's little to do once there, room are good and property is nice, It not exactly a palace but a relatively small place but lobby and dining room is very tastefully maintained the best thing is the wall paintings have been restored very beautifully approach road is not ideal but manageable, pool is nice and it is almost a surprise to have such a place in such a deserted place
