Villa Pescadores was an amazing find! It is on the opposite side of the Tulum strip from places like Be Tulum and Amansala so it is a little bit out of the way from the shops and restaurants but I loved being off the beaten path. They also have bikes for rent and it's an easy ride down there or you can always grab a taxi. But to be honest there is little reason to leave as the beach is amazing - they have a great little beach bar, the service is incredible and the food is beyond ridiculous!! They just launched a new menu and I can say it is in the top five restaurants I have been to (and I live in NYC) - the breakfast was so delish get the Enfrijoladas!! The corn and the raw tuna app was so good!

The rooms were great little bungalows with amazing pillows and fabulous mosquito nets around the beds - just an FYI the air conditioning is only on at night and turns off at 7AM but you want to be up and out anyway. As a great finishing touch they have hammocks all over the property!

I highly highly recommend staying here - I will definitely be back!

I stayed in september and loved it. the cabanas on the beach were perfect, it was very relaxing with a beautiful beach, Service was excellent the whole time. I stayed 3 nights and 3 nights at another hotel down the beach and it really made me appreciate my stay here more. Clean and comfortable rooms and great tacos on the beach.

It was truly an amazing escape and an authentic beach experience staying here. We felt fully removed from the world and could say had truly unwound ourselves. We are celebrating our 7 year anniversary and had a chance to experience our own beach front private palapa with a sitting terrace gazing at the turquoise waters and a hammock to watch the blue sky all day and the stars and meteors at night. We were literally walking around the property on the powdery white sand. Service felt very genuine and outstanding. Thank you Angela and Elenka at the concierge for your very warm hospitality. Wiki, Pati and Jose Luis for all your attentiveness. The restaurant has an excellent menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I particularly loved the grilled octopus. The beach club had the best ceviches, drinks and very comfortable beds, cabanas and beach dining on the sand - nothing like anywhere else. Next door is Maya Beach which is so private and just beautiful watching the galaxies at night. It's also close to the Maya Ruins and some great restaurants in the area. The only thing I think was lacking is a very comfortable bed. It was pretty firm considering the down pillows with it. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel who are seeking a true beach escape. Will stay here again for sure.
